It is easily changeable.

Load af_ZA module in the IDE: http://numbertext.org/Soros.html

The selected Africaans orthography is based on the following book by
Bruce C. Donaldson: A grammar of Africaans, MOUTON DE GRUYTER, 1993
(Google Books:
http://books.google.hu/books?id=ftzioRvJzTUC&pg=RA1-PA420&lpg=RA1-PA420&dq=Africaans+numerals&source=bl&ots=PdhBh9pSp7&sig=9edsNzZQC02Mgt6dfwsgRrihWA0&hl=hu&ei=KfaYStjlGY-enQOuqbHhBA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=5#v=onepage&q=&f=false)

Number names have traditional usage in formal documents (invoices,
contracts etc.). There is modern usage in text-to-speech systems
(telebanking, ATMs and other devices for visually impaired people
etc.). See also the competitive analysis in
http://numbertext.org/numbertext.pdf. I hope, the Office Open XML
compatibility (BAHTTEXT conversion to ODF using MONEYTEXT) is also not
in the l'art pour l'art category.

By the way, one of the first issue of OpenOffice.org bug tracker is
about this topic:
http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3702.

Thanks for your review.
Best regards,
László
