Erm, thats not strictly true. You could use one licence for multiple unrelated site the only restriction is you use the same data repository which isnt really a problem. You may want extra licences for additional data repositories but plenty of people run on one licence.
 
Also its worth noting that a lot of cms's have per seat editor models or per cpu models on the server. If you consider you can use the same licence on a 1cpu linux box or an 8 cpu solaris box it represents quite good value.

In all seriousness the product is very, very impressive *however* it was not so much their prices but more their pricing model. IIRC unlike many other CMS you could *not* have once license and use it for multiple (un-related) websites on the same box. I may be wrong – anyone care to clarify?

there is nothing on the straker site about price and no downloads.

companies that don't publish pricing make me very wary as you know they are just gonna make it up according to how much they think they can choke out of you.
