The problem was that the 'autopoint' tool was not installed on my system. In
Fedora, that tool is part of the gettext-devel package. rpm-native could be
successfully built after I installed it. I have updated the wiki page [1]

will need this too...)
Geoffroy,
Can you try building just rpm-native from a clean buildspace again, but
please remove the /usr/bin/autopoint (or move it). I want to verify the
dependencies.
I was able to build cleanly on both a Fedora and Ubuntu machine with out
the host autopoint.
If you do get a failure, please send me a cooker log from
tmp/logs/cooker/<date>.log
I also added a comment in: https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/BTY-101
Thanks
Sau!
Thanks,
Geoffroy

Thanks Jose, I'll take a closer look at those later but at first sight they
don't
seem related.
Cheers,

Hello,
Have you checked
https://lists.tizen.org/pipermail/dev/2014-July/003609.html
https://lists.tizen.org/pipermail/dev/2014-July/003610.html
https://lists.tizen.org/pipermail/dev/2014-August/003652.html
and also IIRC rpm-native is maybe obsolete
Best regards

Hi all,
I tried to build Tizen IVI using Yocto today but hit an issue building rpm-
native.
Here is my set-up:
- Host: Fedora 19 (64-bit)
- rev_0.9 (scm/bb/tizen-distro)
- source tizen-ivi-init-build-env tizen-ivi-x86
- Modified conf/local.conf -> genericx86 (and also lowered the number of
threads used)
Here is the output (log file):

The weird thing is that I hit that very issue 3 times in a row (using different
targets such as tizen-ivi-core-image, tizen-ivi-Modello-image and tizen-ivi-
Modello-image-dev) and I then decided to go back to building tizen-ivi-core-
image with debug output (-DDD)... and it successfully build rpm-native?!?
Does
any know how to explain that?
Thanks,
Geoffroy
