Roman, you are correct, it is on the todo list.
You and your team is more than welcome to help by providing a first
version of the recipies.
Is someone planning to add those? Should we (owners and developer of
those packages)
add recipies ourselves, if so what is the procedure to do that ?
Ronan or Kevin could you point toward some documentation to help.
The script to generate recipes from spec files can be found in the
project scm/bb/tizen - use branch "tizen"
(https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/admin/projects/scm/bb/tizen,branches). Basic
usage is explained in the file README.md.
But that's not meant to be used by individual developers, is it? It's
the tool used by the meta-tizen maintainer for refreshing a whole bulk
of packages based on their .spec files.
So the question becomes: should Cynara be added a) that way, b) by
writing .bb files manually, or c) not be included at all yet?
In my opinion, b) is better than a) if someone is willing to do it. I'm
unsure about c) - isn't Cynara already a dependency of some other
packages, and if so, why are those not needed for the current "Tizen on
Yocto" build?
According to my knowledge currently cynara is used by:
* security-manager (not yet build with Yocto),
* crosswalk (patches on github not on tizen.org)
* dbus (patches merged but not submitted yet)
So, because dbus patches will be probably merged soon, we need recipe
for cynara.
My question is: who is responsible for creating such recipe?
Is this a job for meta-tizen maintainers? or Is it cynara maintainers
responsibility?
Is there any procedure or howto page about migrating to "Tizen on Yocto" ?
Best regards
Lukasz
