I don't really understand why so many people seem to have a problem with the
interface of Lucene.NET. From my experience it's straightforward and easy to
use. Sure, it doesn't support LINQ and doesn't have properties but to me
this is just syntactic sugar. And I like the fact that I can use sample code
from books like "Lucene in Action" virtually unmodified.
