Robert Muir commented on LUCENE-7157:
-------------------------------------
Karl can you please keep the jira discussion linear? I know it has an
anti-feature where it can behave threaded, but I'm steering clear of that.
please, answer this question instead of complaining about the Polygon class. I
am trying to make it work for you but it seems you are more interested in
random computations from the earth's poles!

Karl: i also would like to know if we solve your problem by refining docs to
say: outer rings should be clockwise, holes counter-clockwise.

> The LatLonPoint API implementation pays attention to the order of the points;
> "clockwise" means one side of the polygon boundary, and "counterclockwise"
> means the complement. We need to use that in Geo3DPoint and convert into
> whatever the underlying GeoPolygonFactory method requires.
