Chris Male commented on LUCENE-3930:
------------------------------------
For our official ant build, the jar is now retrieved as an ivy dependency so
we've gotten rid of the binary jar. But its done so using what I think is an
ivy only mechanism of specifying a path to a jar. The language-detection
project fortunately includes a jar of itself in its own git, so we simply pull
that jar. But we can't do that for Maven, I think? So yes, we need a release.
I hadn't seen the Sonatype thing before, that is certainly worth considering.
> nuke jars from source tree and use ivy
