Shahar, I have corrected the issues that you mentioned, I believe.
Default sorting is now count if a facet limit exists, otherwise index.
I fixed the facet.missing stuff, and I went with the sorting convention that
the rest of solr seems to have which is that null values always go to the
bottom of the list.
Try the new patch.
