I don’t know enough about how the linux kernel does device recognition, but I’d
guess that the kernel you booted with didn’t have the right driver in it…

And also I tried using Moblin IVI kernel (2.6.29.1-18.1.moblin2-ivi) as
somewhere while googling I read FPGA drivers are included in Moblin IVI
kernel. But the result remain same.

to this list?
datasheets are totally useless, manufacturers sometimes put completely different
devices in hardware ;)
