I can't speak to plymouth-lite, but the VESA framebuffer driver /should/ allow for kernel bootsplash (i.e. CONFIG_LOGO_LINUX_CLUT224=y) functionality. This is working on both our custom hardware and Dell Mini-12 (same Moblin LiveUSB image). VESA's not fast, but it does work... - -Cory - -- Cory T.
