Guillaume CERNIER created MJS-46:
------------------------------------
Summary: Would it be possible to freeze a release (2.0.0 ?)
instead of SNAPSHOT version for javascript-maven-plugin
Key: MJS-46
URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJS-46
Project: Maven Javascript Tools
Issue Type: Wish
Reporter: Guillaume CERNIER
Assignee: Christopher Hunt
Hello,
In fact, it seems that there is not any release version for
javascript-maven-tools / javascript-maven-plugin artefacts.
This is a problem in companies like mine where Nexus/Maven policies, following
the best practices, are to not depend on SNAPSHOT versions of 3rd-party
libraries, for obvious reasons of build stability.
As you can see, even for the 2.0 "release" (mentioned here :
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJS/fixforversion/18220), there is no
javascript-maven-plugin artefact in the Codehaus-Releases repository :
https://nexus.codehaus.org/content/repositories/releases/org/codehaus/mojo/
while, of course, the 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT well exists in Codehaus-Snapshots :
https://nexus.codehaus.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/codehaus/mojo/javascript-maven-plugin/2.0.0-SNAPSHOT/
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Guillaume
