Christopher Hunt commented on MJS-46:
-------------------------------------

I'm sorry that we don't have a final release for you right now, but the good
news is that we're close. I'm reluctant to cut a 2.0.0 release just yet as I'm
in the thick of a project that depends on it. That same project has been
uncovering some issues which have also been fixed along the way.

What is your timeline i.e. when do you need to have a final release by? Would a
-alpha also be suitable?

> Would it be possible to freeze a release (2.0.0 ?) instead of SNAPSHOT
> version for javascript-maven-plugin

> Hello,
> In fact, it seems that there is not any release version for
> javascript-maven-tools / javascript-maven-plugin artefacts.
> This is a problem in companies like mine where Nexus/Maven policies,
> following the best practices, are to not depend on SNAPSHOT versions of
> 3rd-party libraries, for obvious reasons of build stability.
> As you can see, even for the 2.0 "release" (mentioned here :
> http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJS/fixforversion/18220), there is no
> javascript-maven-plugin artefact in the Codehaus-Releases repository :
> while, of course, the 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT well exists in Codehaus-Snapshots :
> Thanks in advance.
> Best regards,
> Guillaume
