Hi Charles, The reason I asked for change of tg to tj is that g is misspelling. There is no tagik language, this is wrong. Yes, g can be pronounced as (j) say, George, Germany, budget, but not Tagik [tagik] to be pronounced as Tajik [tajik]. There are other misspellings of tajik: tadgik, tadjik which are completely incorrect. The language should be called tajiki, not tajik. We say in tajiki: farsi, dari, tajiki. Farsi also is called Persian, so tajik and tajiki can be interchangeably used to name the language.
