Hi all,
Some time ago, I tried to get the automatic update notification
activated ( http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=88255 ) for
the Danish build. Unfortunately without any luck. I found out that the
whole thing was never made ready for native versions of OpenOffice.org.
* Does anyone actually got it working for native versions ?
* Would you also like the automatic update notification to be
activated for your language ?
Personally I think it would be a great feature. OpenOffice.org is almost
the only program today that doesn't phone home. And now that the code
was made, why don't we use it ?
I get the Danish build from Pavel Janik, due to the reason that Sun
doesn't provide a Danish version of StarOffice. I'm very thankful to
Pavel for building OpenOffice.org for us and I don't think we have ever
had any complaints about his work.
