Hi all,

I'm quite happy with GTK 3, actually. My setup is as follows:

Debian 10 / Cinnammon / Adwaita-Dark Theme / IBM Plex Sans as default system font.

Running NetBeans 11.3 on OpenJDK 1.8.0_232 and -J-Djdk.gtk.version=3 with the GTK Look and Feel and the Fonts/Colors FlatLaf Dark Theme.

This makes NetBeans honor my system font (i.e., IBM Plex Sans). I am unable to use this font with Flat Look and Feel, though (either with jdk.gtk.version=2.2 (NetBeans default) or jdk.gtk.version=3).

Questions:

- What about setting jdk.gtk.version=3 as NetBeans' default?
- Any way FlatLaf can be customized at runtime (for instance, choosing base font?).

Cheers,
Antonio

Hi

So I started using the latest development builds and I really like the
progress with the Flat Look and Feel addition for NB11.3. Great job to the
guys who have done all this work it really looks nice.

Are there plans to consider making this the default LnF for NetBeans 12
onwards?

Regards

John
