There is no voting on RCs, but 15-rc1 will be available by the middle
of next week unless we have any infrastructure issues. So a
notification next week and using the month of RCs for plugjn checks
would be good. In fact, we should probably notify plugin authors
every time we have a first RC for a new release anyway? Not sure all
are on dev@.

Thanks, and confirmed links for 15-rc1 now working correctly. All
good from a releases point of view there, although RC1 will have no
plugins listed.

I'm not sure anyone is suggesting no manual verification, just
automatically upgrading validation of the same plugin file from one
IDE release to the next. Which is effectively what we're already
doing because we're reusing the NB13 plugins catalog for NB14 right
now.

I don't think any of those issues would have been affected by doing
that. And it would mean people could check the plugins they use
during RCs and report problems back.

Best wishes,

Neil
