-1 from me too (again) and wholly agree with Michael's points (again).
We seem to be covering the same ground?!

+1. I'm not sure that WYSIWYG (in original post) is exactly the term
I'd use to describe NetBeans, but I agree with that principle, and for
me a lot of NetBeans' benefit here comes from a perspective of "no
surprises". This change seems the antithesis of this.

Yes, very happy that NetBeans should work well with frgaal for those
who want to use it.

The short answer from me to that would be no, but that really depends
a lot on how we're meant to understand the question!

What does "integrate" there mean to you? If that includes relying on
or shipping with, that opens the same set of problems we had (and
somewhat still have) with nb-javac. Same ASF legal process to jump
through, same CPE auditing to put in place, and same problems of
relying on something with a much lower user and developer base that
cannot be developed or supported here within ASF.

In my opinion, Frgaal brings to mind the Emperor's New Clothes, but
then to a large extent so does Kotlin. Doesn't mean I disagree with
supporting end user use of both as best we can.

Best wishes,

Neil
