I'd also add that I can't even get the platform binary / source zips to show up in the download stats tool at https://logging1-he-de.apache.org/stats/ (requires Apache login) Which might suggest that even if they're useful, as we're not linking them from anywhere as far as I know, usage is practically non-existent.
