I've seen some puppet stuff there, shall we use puppet for this or was
this just an install-time thing? If so, are there any guidelines somewhere?
That's up to the project to decide. You can use puppet, but it would be
managing the box via infra then, adding some lag in changes. Generally,
we bootstrap via puppet (to sort things like access and networking), but
leave it up to the project to set up the rest of the box.
