I was only speaking as a feature OOTB which could be removed easily. We could
put some directions in the wiki setup page on how to quicly remove it. Moreover
this would be only on the ERP side.
Actually the idea is that we will never end fixing the pig (IE8 is still a
pig). I'm sure there are still places where IE is unusable. But it's a pain for
us to fix it and we have not enough resources to do so. BTW I see more this as
a warning than anything else. Somehting saying like (bu more polite of course)
"Hey, you use IE, maybe you will cross some problems we have not identified,
because IE is a pig"
BTW, if someone has a solution for this particular issue, I'm ready to review
it...
