[~puru], you are right. For the string comparison part of code, I was trying to
be smart. Instead, I should have used "action_number" as comparison. {quote}I
see that biggest issue here is that we are trying to interpret "len" as "action
number", which is not true.{quote} I think this is fine and this is exactly
what [~shwethags] asked in oozie-1532. She wanted "-offset 4 -len 4" to always
return action number from 4-7 even though all 4 actions might have already been
purged.
