You sound like the kind of programmer that like challenges, and the source code of AOO is for sure a big challenge....but would you mind telling a little bit more about what your preferences are (just some examples) - bug solving - new code - build systems - translate tools We have challenges in nearly all fields....so if you have time and spirit we have the challenges !
