Larry, that's great. I saw that in a screen shot that showed both of them installed.
Please add that link to Bugzilla issue 126130. If you don't have an account there, let me know and I will do it. Oh, and MAC users need to know that they can have multiple JRE installations, so there is no need to uninstall a later one or fear that installing a Java 6 VM is going to limit them from the latest somehow. Some reporters seem to get snarled up with that and bounce out of the Java 6 update page because there is so much encouragement to go download the latest (Java 8 now). - Dennis -----Original Message----- From: Larry Gusaas [mailto:larry.gus...@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 17, 2015 20:54 To: dev@openoffice.apache.org Subject: Re: [DISCUSS] Java 8 and AOO On 2015-03-17, 6:41 PM Dennis E. Apache OpenOffice works with Java 8, but you also need to have Java 6 installed. Java 6 for Macs was provided by Apple, not Oracle. To download it go to http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572 -- _________________________________ Larry I.
