Yes, this can (and should) be done by RE, if we decide drop the VCS
keywords. Most probably not m33, but at some time in the near future.
Another huge change which could be done in the same milestone is to
convert tabs to 4 spaces, something I know Kendy and some others are
advocating.

Great that you are willing to do the keyword drop. (As I wrote before, if you go touch every file's header, anyway, please also consider fixing the effects caused by <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=94480>. Especially with Emacs' show-trailing-whitespace on, those headers look plain ugly now, where clean should be king.)

Regarding the tab conversion, I guess such a one-time conversion won't help much unless we could ensure that no new tabs get introduced with new commits.
