For the math, I'll just stick with the "ensemble (ou point) de
discontinuites d'une fonction complexe" so to avoid confusions... :)

Combining other's suggestions, I think the term "branch point" captures
the idea best. So I vote for BranchPointBlock and BranchBlock, as
illustrated by hacking Katie's ascii art:
