The vote carries and I will create an INFRA issue to get the change implemented. There is already a .asf.yaml setting to get the emails sent to the dev mailing list. We'll soon find out what those emails look like.
I'm still getting used to the voting process for podlings. I counted 15 +1s from people who are currently committers, PPMC or mentors (or a combination). There were 3 other +1s.
