I think this may occur if you are building off the source dist and/or
checkout out the git reference directly without using git checkout <TAG>
(i.e. in this case git checkout 37f35d6bccd9913c6dd108004581a9abcb91343e).
In my case I always checkout the git tag and make sure that the git tags
are up to date beforehand, i.e. git fetch upstream (which retrieves latest
tags)
