Eric Lomore commented on PHOENIX-3264:
--------------------------------------

The exprConverter field in SqlToRelConverter is the only instance of
SqlToRexNodeConverterImpl. It is a private field, and the only way to use it
this protected method, or other methods that require instances of Blackboard
(which are also not possible since there is no public way to instantiate
Blackboard).

> Phoenix supports TRUE and FALSE as boolean literals, but perhaps Calcite
> doesn't? Looks like this is leading to a fair number of failures.
