Hi Maho,
if we speak of 'testtool' it means the 'VCL Testtool' application, if we
speak of 'testtool environment' we mean the testscripts. And if Jogi
told to reduce the number of errors and warnings to zero he meant the
numbers of failures (due to bugs in office or testscripts) in testtool
scripts until a release. This is done by
- fix an issue in office found by testtool
- fix issue in testscript
- implement an QAErrorlog to testscript if an issue found in office and
would not be fixed to current release
After finishing release-autotests (all update-tests of all applications)
with Matrix (release approval) the testscripts (testtool environment)
will be tagged with the 'release' flag. In this case 'ooo230'.

This is a question, AFAIK/IIRC, for OOo 2.2, yes I know that QA team
have been committing to ooo220 after the release of en-US. IIRC,
jogi told that TestTool team must reduce the number of error to zero.
I'm not sure what purpose you are doing such things, but what is the
role of testtool is not clear for me.
AFAIK/IIRC:
* Hamburg team uses SRC680_m50 based testtool.
* Testtool team is committing to fixes(?) of testtool
after the release of en-US version.
* Testtool team is doing
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease23AutomationTestMatrix
for release approval(?) but currently input from community is very small...
