Completely agree there needs to be more stability before folk dive into the code. The core issue will be how to implement "Exchanges" as "Queues + Links"; which is the intention of 1.0. Exchange is no longer a first class concept in 1.0.
1.0 leaves much more freedom as how you do the implementation of these things - esp. optimisations. Rafi, Rob and me should do a doc on how that's meant to work for people migrating (any) implementation to 1.0. Glad to see there is interest!
