------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-02-11 04:04 -------
The line "set 'internal_networks' to include the hosts that act as MX for your
domains, or that may deliver mail internally in your organisation" from
http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/TrustPath is a little vauge, but still
correct. It should probably be clearer that it's referring to hosts between
your MX and the host running SpamAssassin. Obviously an MSA is NOT between an
MX and the host running SpamAssassin.

Also note the documentation from Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf I quoted above.

The semantics haven't changed. It wouldn't work if they changed.

The MSA can't be included in internal_networks, SpamAssassin has to know that
everyone relayed through their own MX. Since SA doesn't know who your local
users are, both local and external users have to relay through an MSA that SA
doesn't consider to be internal.
