There is excellent documentation of the SA release process here: http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/ReleasePolicy Command lines involved, including building tarballs: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/spamassassin/trunk/build/README?root=Apache-SVN&view=markup A good point is that releases generally should not be done with critical bugs. Although I suspect none of the currently open critical or blocker bugs are new, so not really a reason to put off a release. For anybody else wondering what has changed: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/spamassassin/?view=log Although I haven't figured out how to filter out all the automated rule updates, which makes this pretty useless. -- "Whom God wishes to destroy, he first makes mad." - Euripides (c.480 - 406 BC). http://www.ChaosReigns.com
