Overall I think this is a good start and I am supportive. @revans2 brought
up some good points and I tried to expand/clarify in several places. I feel
more efficient use of prepared statements is an important. The ability to
invoke stored procedures is something we might want to consider, but not a
requirement, especially since calling stored procedures can be a VERY
DB-dependent thing.
I'm also willing to act as a sponsor.
