No, it really shouldn't. This would be a terrible signal to the community that WSO2 is still a dominant presence in the community, which is exactly contrary to the signal you want to be sending. As my friend Karsten has been known to say, that's "community repellant." I'd really encourage the community to not only break from the color / visible identity, but to choose a new name and let WSO2 keep the name they've already built up value for and let the community pick a new name without the history of WSO2's brand.
