I've done this. The only problem I had was when I tried to run the tests for struts-el.
I had problems with cactus 1.4.1 when trying to run "test.tomcat.41" the redirector jsp wouldn't compile because it couldn't find: org.apache.cactus.util.log.LogService Tried reverting to cactus 1.3 and that failed because it couldn't find org.apache.cactus.ant.RunServerTestsTask I gave up after that - I have tested the new "acceptCharset" attribute with an el expression in a web app and it worked fine. (was Re: Struts 1.2.1 release) I'm planning on doing this Saturday evening. If you have time before that, and you're confident you understand how to do it (changing tld, EL*.java, and EL*BeanInfo.java), then go for it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Niall Pemberton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > David, > > If you're busy I could do that now - as I should have > originally :(.
