Open source happens because people have an itch to scratch. Parking happens when people run out of itches. That's all that's been happening here. Evolving Struts has become more work than using it as it stands, and so people are letting it stand. Other wheels are squeaking. If someone has an itch to roll releases and move the project forward, I'll be happy to help them along. In the meantime, I'll just keep applying patches like yours, so that Struts stays release-ready, and call it part of my volunteer tithe. The patches we applied yesterday (thanks everybody!) are in this morning's build. I would have applied yours this morning, but as Martin says, email corrupts the encoding, making the patch so difficult to apply, that it practically defeats the purpose. -Ted. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ted Husted" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Struts Developers List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, > December 22, 2003 11:16 PM > Subject: Re: patch to make sure streams get closed > > It's better to submit these through Bugzilla, so they don't get > lost. > > http://struts.apache.org/using.html#Patches > > -Ted. > > On Tue, 24 Aug 2004 22:00:41 -0400, Dave Brosius wrote: > >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "Dave Brosius" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Sent: Tuesday, August 24, 2004 9:58 PM >> Subject: patch to make sure streams get closed >> >>> This patch makes sure streams are closed even on exception >>> paths. >>> >> Hmmm, the list strips attachments? >> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
