This is *way* off topic, but I don't see why you're associating the above
syntax with dynamically typed languages. That's just the use of operator
syntax for accessing associative arrays. That's just as viable in statically
typed languages as it is in dynamically typed ones. It just happens to be
something Java doesn't have right now.
