The aforementioned issues are fixed, but now we've just found another bug:
gremlin> g.withBulk(false).withSack(1.0f,sum).V(1).local(outE('knows'

==>1.0

...
The 1.0's go on and on. Unfortunately one more reason to delay the 3.2.2
release.
