@newkek I appreciate the point about users messing it up, but static imports and this style we have are the basis for Gremlin. personally, I'd rather not try to tackle that problem with this ticket. fwiw, i'm making a good effort to try to bring better attention to the whole "import" issue in the 3.4.0 docs. hopefully that will help.
