Okay, starting from Matthew's latest page, I made some updates:

It's not where I want it to be, but I tried to keep the changes a little
more modest. Hoping to, little, by little, reach an agreement.
Changes compared to Matthew's page:
* Mostly I just made a few things shorter so they'd fit on one page.
I also made minor fixes like "Report Bug" -> "Report a Bug".
* I remove the big image. I'd like to add some other image later, but
one that doesn't dominate the page as much.
* I modified the NLC section to make it more visible.
* I replaced "Download" by "Free Download" and made it bold, hoping to
make it more prominent.
* I moved Resources to the top and put download under resources.
I think that's essentially it. Let's see if we agree on these (image
pending) and then move on.
