Again: I personally don't like to link to "random" pages from the
frontpage. The pages should have somewhat the same style.
Yes, that it is a problem. There are some discussions already started
among the project website owners to consider a common structure and
design. But yes it is also my feeling that the same style should be
available first, before activating or switching the links on the main page.
It is prefelctly fine for me to link to a chart page that is similar to
the ones for writer or calc or any other of the currently listed
"products" - it is OK for me as well if it has an additional section
that includes the following message (the meaning, not the words):
This module is currently rewritten, we encourage all contributions, for
more details and preview snapshots see <chart page on graphics.ooo)
Fine :-). That would be a first step. So I'll try to get such a
marketing page from the marketing people.

Why should it be necessary to be in the application start menu to get
attention on the main page or in the help?
It is not.

I am aiming at all chart interested people. I would like to address the
different needs all together with this single page. Thus switching from
pure user to tester, to bug reporter, to developer is only an eye move
away.
Putting everything on one single page and having everything accessible
from one page is a huge difference.
Yes that's true. So let me precise myself. I would like to see the
project pages as an entrance where everything is accessible what is
about that project (for users, for testers, for developers, for other
contributors).

Thanks,
