Correct; the point here is that we (the project leads) want to have a basic agreement that the time to bring these pages into a "suitable presentation" isn't wasted because afterwards nobody will link to them from the start page. But please read on, as I ask for at least one compromise. >> As >> a compromise the current pages could link to the project pages. And addtionally I don't like "dead end pages" like the current marketing related project pages. Why not add a link to them to the "real" project pages as soon as they have a "suitable presentation"? >> Another point I would like to rise: could we have a more prominent link >> to the "contribute" page, perhaps equally in visibility and size to the >> "get OOo" or the "Native Language" button? > > More prominent than in the toptabs? Yes. In the same size and visbility as "Get...". We want to put more emphasize on the community. Community is get *and* give. The "get" button is already there. > I fear that with the "other projects" stuff the page will get crowded > again. If you are concerned about "overcrowding" we could reduce the "additional products" buttons to one additional button called "more OOo software" but I doubt that this will be necessary. Let's first have a look on a potential implementation before we tempt fate.
