Hi,

I would like to enhance this proposal a little bit:
We are dealing with two different interpretations of a project:
a static project like API, Wordprocessor, Impress, Base, etc.
The IMHO more interesting interpretation of a project is the project
management point of view: a project is a clearly described effort to
achieve something in a certain timeframe.
I think the term "Project" is taken for OpenOffice.org
Kay ran in the problem too and found that "Effort" is what you are
looking for. See http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Efforts
In every case this solves the ambiguity project vs projects. How can it
be that this category was not known to me ? Missing structure ?
Please add only OpenOffice.org Projects to the category of the same name.
If you are still not happy, see
http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/project
effort is not listed there, but the remaining suggestion aren't better
either. As I wrote in another mail in this thread, I think our existing
project(s) like marketing, sw, etc a better described as an effort or an
product,
