In IE, the problem is caused by IE's rendering of the pre tags.
They're substantially larger than what they appear like in Firefox,
but changing the font size in the CSS doesn't seem to do anything to
their appearance in IE. Same thing in Opera. I tried changing the font
size of the pre tags but that didn't work at all - only Firefox
reflected the changes. Odd.
