Hi all,

I have been working on bringing the wiki design more in line with the
OpenOffice.org website. You can see my proposal at:
http://patentpending.co.nz/openoffice/wiki/Art.htm, which you can
compare with the current design:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Art (please excuse my choice
of wiki pages :) )
Now, there are still some inconsistencies, so maybe you can tell me
which style you like (do you think the website & wiki should look very
similar?):

* Heading (h1) - big and blocky like on the website (e.g.
support.openoffice.org) or small and bold like on the wiki?
* Left hand navigation - bullets (wiki) or no bullets (current website)?
* Default Fonts: Arial (wiki) or Verdana (website)?
* Default MediaWiki icons, or Galaxy icons?

There's nothing I can do about the tabs themselves with CSS - they
have to be 'blocky' - we don't have the HTML flexibility like on the
normal OOo website.

Other changes:
* Increased top padding for <h2> : better spacing
* Fixed footer bug on IE - it was creating horizontal scrolling
* Improved custom headings in left navigation (e.g., Toolbox)
* Mouseover effect on left hand navigation is akin to OOo website's
mouseover - link has 100% width
* Nonexistent tabs now gray instead of light blue (e.g. Disussion tab
in this example)
* Bullet points from aquamarine/teal to blue
* Updated header graphic

Thoughts? Comments?

Thanks,
Ivan.
