But I don't know if they really "have to" use OOo 2.x. I remember that, when OOo 3.x became stable and dropped Win 98 support, a new version of http://x86.neostrada.pl/KernelEx/ was released specifically to allow Win 98 users to install and use OOo 3. I have absolutely no idea whether the effort succeeded or not and how smooth is running OOo 3 on Win 98 with this compatibility layer. But, if this works, the website should not hide OOo 3 from Win 98 users: regardless of what our installation requirements say, if would probably be better to have a "mostly working" OOo 3.x rather than a "perfectly working" OOo 2.x.
