Well you're right...this IS pretty difficult and not at all *explained*. At a minimum, I suggest we at least mention the older versions and THEIR requirements in the "System Requirements" link. OK, you can view the results my supercluge (you'll likely need an user agent switcher) at: http://website.openoffice.org/tryouts/Kay/download/DL_index.html This is of course a mockup of download.openoffice.org/index.html Appropriate changes would need to be made elsewhere of course. I could do a LOT more with some of this. My biggest hurdle was figuring out what combinations exactly the bouncer has on file. Is there some EASY way I can identify this? Also, what other OS issues do we have? I put some pretty ugly code in download.js to deal with the following Windows oses: 95, 98, ME, CE, and NT...we have these combos on my work site along with <gasp!> Win 3.x! so I tried to deal with them. I see the Macs are already redirected...do we need to deal with anything else? > > John -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MzK "Better to get up late and be wide awake than to get up early and be asleep all day." -- Anonymous [ my feeling EXACTLY!!!! ] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
