If you think it is a libwpd bug, then please file it at http://bugzilla.abisource.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=libwpd
which is the official libwpd bugzilla. I never look in OOo´s bugzilla,
so any bugs filed there will not be seen by me (i think fridrich watches
it though)

If you want to see the issues filed with OOo "wp" component, it is enough to subscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED]

marbux, please file issues from your e-mail according to Smokey's suggestion. I am trying to push through a refactoring of libwpd that should fix quite some of them.

Smokey gave clear instructions about what should be in the bug report, but didn't say *where* to file the bug reports. I still don't understand where to file them.

If you could consult among yourselves and then walk me through this, I'd be happy to contribute a synthesized set of instructions suitable for inclusion in a FAQ or some such. As you mentioned, Fridrich, the message traffic is going to increase dramatically when OOo 2.0 is launched. It will probably help if there is a set of clear instructions posted on some web site (any web site) that you can provide a link to when a *lot* of people like me stumble in who don't know the bug-reporting process. That would avoid you having to go through a conversation like this over and over again.

Hopefully, the where-to-file information might be presented as a simple decision tree of sorts, with a "when in doubt file it here" option.

Thus far, I see three topics that need to be addressed:

* How to decide where to file the bug report.
  Status: unknown.

* Links/subscription information for filing the bug reports.
Status: unsure whether I have them all.

* What to include in the bug report.
Status: known (from Smokey and discussion).

Best regards,

marbux
