    #2060 looks good so I can at least "turn it off". Is there some global 
proxy configuration inside the Zeppelin configuration already we can use? Does 
it make sense to read `$http_proxy` and `$https_proxy` environment variables 
and check them? That's how most applications handle it.
    
    Are you aware of a Jira issue? If not, I'll create one tomorrow.
