Yeah, this. :) Vit, have you made any progress? Jason, to your "is it worthwhile" question: I think we're just not ready to move to non-RPMed things, even though I think we should get there. We need better tooling to track the provenance and status (license, security, etc.) of non-RPM artifacts. Plus, I don't think containers are the whole solution here.
